We are 9 miles west of Amenia, North Dakota, a scenic thirty minute drive from Fargo, North Dakota. You’ll travel through the most beautiful farmland in the midwest, and through the rolling plains of the Red River Valley. We are located far enough away from Fargo to be rural, but close enough to be easily accessible.
FAR, named one of the best airports in the US, is our closest international airport.
Can we see the venue beforehand?
Absolutely! However, Lone Oak Venue is a privately owned estate and tours are given by appointment only.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
We want to make sure all your guests can experience the magic of Lone Oak; the entire venue is moderately accessible with the exception of the Groom’s Room. That being said, there are many locations throughout the property that we would suggest caution be used due to uneven ground and natural surroundings.
We want to include our fur baby, is that allowed?
Yes, we LOVE pets! While our venue is technically a pet-free zone, we do allow our couples to include their favorite four-footer during their ceremony and cocktail hour, but for your pet’s well being and safety they must be removed from the venue once the reception begins.
What's the backup weather plan?
The venue offers a variety of locations both indoor and out. Depending on season, we'll work with you to ensure we have a good plan for inclement weather.
Do you have lodging on site?
We do! Our newly renovated farm home offers sleeping space for 12 guests and is offered with the Thurs-Friday and Sat-Sun packages. Additionally, guests may choose to stage their guests 15 minutes from the venue in Casselton at the Governor's Inn. Alternatively, the Fargo-Moorhead Metro offers numerous lodging options, along with restaurants, wineries, breweries, shopping, and outdoor entertainment to last throughout the weekend.
Do you have more than one wedding per day?
We focus on you and want you to have the most amazing day of your life so there is only one event allowed per day.
Who can I use as a caterer?
Our clients can use any caterer they choose, as long as they're licensed in North Dakota. Once again, we want to make our guests comfortable with the entire process, and if that means using someone of their choosing, we're happy to accommodate.
Do you have a shuttle service?
We can provide contact information for shuttle services in our area.
How does insurance for our event work?
Liability insurance is needed, with details provided in the rental contract.
